Pressure Sensor for Turbocharger Compressor Inlet
The air pressure that is in the air induction system is monitored. The inlet air pressure is monitored by the pressure sensors for the turbocharger. The sensors are located in each air inlet tube. The electric control module (ECM) will provide the sensor with a 5.0 ± 0.5 VDC supply voltage. The output of the turbocharger inlet pressure sensor is a DC voltage signal. The signal has a range of 0.2 volts to 4.8 volts. The ECM interprets the signal from this sensor as the inlet air pressure to the turbocharger compressors.
