Water Valve (Cab Heater) - Remove and Install
Start By:
- Remove the storage box. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Storage Box and Covers (Cab) - Remove and Install" in this manual.
Note: Before you begin the following procedure, swing the upper structure in order to gain access to the panel that is mounted beneath the cab. Removing the panel allows access to the hose connections on the water valve.
- Close the shutoff valves to the heater lines. The shutoff valves are located on the water pump.

- Cut the wire tie-wraps. Disconnect electrical connector (8).

- Remove water valve (10) and the bracket.

- Remove bracket (12).
- Reposition bracket (12).
- Install three screws (11).

- Install water valve (10) and the bracket.
- Install four screws (9).

- Install the washer and nut (7).

4.5 ± .5 N·m (40 ± 4.4 lb in) .Show/hide tableIllustration 14 g00514876 - Reposition plate assembly (2) on the machine. Install the washers and bolts (1).
