Dimensions for the steel plates which are customer supplied

    (12) Drill and Tap (3/4 inch, 10 thread)

    (I) 200 mm (7.9 inch)

    (J) 32 mm (1.3 inch)

    (K) 130 mm (5.1 inch)

    (L) 200 mm (7.9 inch)

    (M) 35 mm (1.4 inch)

    (N) 35 mm (1.4 inch)

  1. Place the steel plates (11) that are customer supplied directly under the feet of the support legs. Tighten four screws (8) until these screws are in contact with the plates (11) .

  1. Place one 124-2460 Strap (2) through the center of each 124-0530 Bracket (10) and around the lower frame of the accessory module. Ratchet down the strap on each bracket.

  1. Remove the two 124-1384 Braces (1). These braces are used only for shipping support.

  1. Loosen the sixteen 1A-8063 Bolts (3) that are used to attach the accessory module to the mounting pads for the bracket. Relieve the tension, but leave the bolts threaded in place.

  1. Tighten the four 4B-3584 Screws (8) until a clearance is obtained between the bottom of the footpad on the module and the top of the bracket mounting pad. This action will shift the weight from the brackets onto the support legs.

  1. Adjust the position of the accessory module with four screws (8) . The maximum allowable misalignment between flanges on the engine and the flanges of the accessory module is a tolerance of ± 3.18 mm (0.125 inch). The flanges must be parallel within a tolerance of 3.18 mm (0.125 inch).

  1. Shim the support legs after the correct alignment has been achieved. Apply grout to the support legs. Anchor the support legs to the foundation with two bolts (7) for each leg. Bolts (7) are provided by the customer.

Note: Follow the instructions of the manufacturer for the application of the grout.

  1. Fully remove the sixteen 1A-8063 Bolts (3) that are used to secure the accessory module to the brackets.

  1. Be sure that the 124-2460 Straps (2) are secured in place. Loosen the sixteen 1D-4709 Bolts (4) from the inside of the front plate of the base.

    ------ WARNING! ------

Personal injury or death can occur from heavy components falling during removal or installation.

Properly support the component with a suitable lifting device during removal or installation.

    ----------------------

  1. Continue to completely remove the eight 1D-4709 Bolts (4). Secure one of the brackets to the engine base.

  1. When these bolts (4) are removed, release the ratchet lock on the 124-2460 Strap (2). Then, slowly lower the bracket to the ground.

  1. Repeat Step 14 and Step 15 for the remaining bracket.

  1. Install four plates (5) and four plates (12) in order to brace the support legs. Refer to Illustration 1. Use the following components to install the plates: 40 5P-8245 Hard Washers , 4 4S-5719 Spacers , 20 1F-7958 Full Nuts and 16 0S-1587 Bolts .
