减振器安装在曲轴 ( 3)的前端。 减振器 ( 1)外壳内有重块。 重块和壳体之间充满了一种粘稠液体。 重块在壳体中移动以便限制扭转振动。
如果出现下列任一情况，则更换减振器：
- 减振器有压痕、破裂或渗漏。
- 减振器上的油漆因受热而变色。
- 齿轮传动系有并非因缺少机油而造成的的大量磨损。
- 机油分析显示前主轴瓦严重磨损。
- 发动机曾发生因曲轴断裂而引起的故障。
