New Line Relief Valve Prevents Seal Failure And Loss Of Line Relief Valve Pressure {5080,5090,5117}

Usage:

5130 (5ZL),
5130B (4CS),
5230 (7LL) Excavators;
5130B (4CS) Front Shovels;

Description of Change: A new relief valve replaced the former relief valve. The new relief valve, part of the control valve, is used for head and rod end circuits identified in Illustrations 1, 2, and 3.

The makeup section, of the former relief valve, could rotate or spin relative to the relief section. Rotation or spin would damage the O-ring seal and backup ring between the two sections, causing lowering or loss of relief valve pressure. The new relief valve prevents rotation, spin, and loss of pressure.

Adaptable To: The new 153-3004 Relief Valve Group (1) replaces the former 127-5652 Relief Valve Group in all applications.

NOTE: The new 153-3004 Relief Valve (1) cannot be used to replace the 9T-8316 Relief Valve Group (Line and Makeup), in any application.
