在流量为 10 L/min (2.6 US gpm) 时，转向单向安全阀的压力设定值是 28000 ± 1025 kPa (4065 ± 150 psi)。
必须在试验台上测试转向控制阀，以实现每个转向单向安全阀的准确压力测试。 需要进行试验台测试以符合流量要求。

可以在机器上进行转向单向安全阀的功能测试。 使用以下步骤测试转向控制阀 (1) 左转向端口中的转向单向安全阀。
- 从左转向油缸上拆下机油管路 (2) 。
- 将工具 (A) 安装到左转向油缸的缸盖端口。
注: 当工具安装在机油管路和转向油缸之间时，工具 (A) 充当 T 形测试接头。

- 将机油管路 (2) 连接到工具 (A) 上。
- 起动发动机。
- 将卡车朝左方向一直转到底，直至到达转向限位。
- 停止发动机。
- 将来自工具 (B) 的压力表连接至工具 (A) 上的测试阀。
- 将工具 (C) 连接至工具 (A) 上的另一个测试阀。
- 操作工具 (C) 并加压转向系统。
- 记录打开转向单向安全阀的压力。 如果压力读数不在可接受的范围内，更换转向单向安全阀。
注: 如果转向单向安全阀在流量为 1.6 L/min (0.4 US gpm) 且压力读数为 22500 ± 500 kPa (3275 ± 75 psi) 的情况下打开，则为可接受读数。 此读数可接受，因为泵供油不能产生足够的机油来精确检查转向单向安全阀。
- 从左转向油缸上拆下所有工具。
- 将机油管路 (2) 重新安装到左转向油缸上。
- 从左转向油缸上拆下机油管路 (3) 。
- 将工具 (A) 安装到左转向油缸的连杆端端口。
- 对右转向单向安全阀重复步骤 3 至步骤 12。
注: 对于步骤 5，将卡车朝右方向一直转到底，直至到达转向限位。
