在負載下工作後立即將引擎熄火，會造成引擎過熱，並且加速引擎組件的磨損。 渦輪增壓器中心溫度過高會引起機油燒焦的問題。 渦輪增壓器中央殼體上的溫度過高會損壞渦輪增壓器軸承/軸系統，且明顯地縮短渦輪增壓器的壽命。 在引擎熄火之前，使其逐漸冷卻。 |
有許多使引擎熄火的方式。 請確認已了解關機的程序。 關閉引擎時應遵循下列通用準則。
- 鬆開船用變速箱，以便卸下負載。
- 引擎熄火前，讓引擎在降溫期內運轉。
- 如果利用降溫特性，應將引擎控制開關轉到"降溫/關機 (COOLDOWN/STOP)"位置。
引擎會在編程的時間中運轉。 冷卻後，計時器會致動燃油切斷裝置。 在引擎控制開關未轉到"關斷/復位 (OFF/RESET )"位置之前，引擎控制模組將開機狀態。
- 如果不利用降溫特性，則在低怠速下運轉引擎 5 分鐘。 接著將引擎熄火。

當引擎控制開關轉至"關斷/復位 (OFF/RESET )"位置，ECM 和儀表板就沒有電力。
引擎將逐漸熄火。 在引擎熄火後，對引擎提供外部支撐的任何系統均牢靠固定。
當引擎在自動模式下運行而且遠程起動/關機觸點已經打開時，就會發生自動關機。 若利用降溫特性，引擎將運轉所設定的降溫期後關機。 否則，引擎會立即熄火。
