Measure the depth of the camshaft bearing.

  1. The camshaft bearings are installed with Tool (A). Measure the depth of the camshaft bearings from the front face of the cylinder block to the following distances:

    1. Dimension (A) is 7.40 ± 0.50 mm (0.291 ± 0.020 inch).

    1. Dimension (B) is 211.30 ± 0.50 mm (8.319 ± 0.020 inch).

    1. Dimension (C) is 395.50 ± 0.50 mm (15.571 ± 0.020 inch).

    1. Dimension (D) is 579.60 ± 0.50 mm (22.819 ± 0.020 inch).

    1. Dimension (E) is 763.80 ± 0.50 mm (30.071 ± 0.020 inch).

    1. Dimension (F) is 947.90 ± 0.50 mm (37.319 ± 0.020 inch).

    1. Dimension (G) is 1144.30 ± 0.50 mm (45.051 ± 0.020 inch).

End By:

  1. Install the camshaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Camshaft - Install".
  2. Install the flywheel housing. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Flywheel Housing - Install".
