清洁对于喷油器的良好密封至关重要。 应当清除喷油器套筒和孔 (2) 上的所有积碳。 还应当清除喷油器套筒底部 120 度斜面 (1) 上的积碳。

利用工具 (B) 清除喷油器套筒孔 (2) 中的积碳。
利用工具 (B) 清除喷油器套筒上的积碳后，利用工具 (C) 确定是否已经清除掉了足够数量的积碳。 请参阅拆解和组装, "单体喷油器 - 安装"。
- 将新 O 形密封圈 (2) 和垫圈 (3) 安装到单体喷油器套筒 (1) 上。

- 用清洁的发动机机油润滑 O 形密封圈 (2) 。
- 将工具 (D) 涂抹到单体喷油器套筒 (1) 上。 将单体喷油器套筒安装到缸盖内，并利用工具 (A) 上紧到 100 ± 10 N·m (74 ± 7 lb ft) 的扭矩。
