Removal Procedure

1. Remove the two bolts and clamps that hold tachometer drive (1) in position on the rear of the governor housing.

2. Remove tachometer drive (1) and coupling (3) from the governor housing. Remove O-ring seal (2) from tachometer drive (1) .

Installation Procedure

Note: Check the condition of the O-ring seal. If the O-ring seal is worn or damaged, use a new part for replacement.

1. Install O-ring seal (2) on tachometer drive (1). Put tachometer drive (1) in position on the governor housing.

2. Make sure that coupling (3) and tachometer drive (1) are engaged and install the two bolts that hold tachometer drive (1) to the governor housing. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 11 ± 3 N·m (97 ± 27 lb in).
