The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.
Problem
Certain Cat® Product Link (PL) devices may display duplicate assets in home page fault code panel. When an issue exists with the identification and reporting of fault codes to PL web, some assets appear twice in the list.
Solution
Caterpillar is aware of this problem and the issue will be addressed in the next back-office software update. As an interim action, dealers experiencing this issue may submit a Dealer Solution Network (DSN) ticket to report the issue.
