The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.
Problem
The newly merged Configuration Files are not being tagged or accessed correctly due to incorrect formatting and Back-office programming. Due to this issue, editing the single configuration file under "Configuration Manager" in Product Link (PL) web or Dealer Service Portal (DSP) is not available.
Solution
Caterpillar is aware of this problem and the issue will be addressed in the next back-office software update expected to release by May 2018.
