The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.

Problem

Field service reports indicate that pretension bolt (1) of lower ROPS cab mount (2) may be loose.

Solution

Caterpillar is aware of the problem but an interim repair has not yet been defined.

Follow the instruction below if you have experienced this problem.

• Submit a Dealer Solution Network (DSN) ticket, quoting CPI issue number 413306

• Request that a Tier 1 representative, transfer your ticket to an available Tier 2 representative for Caterpillar Underground Mining, Base Machine
