Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Engage the steering frame lock.

2. Remove the cab support.

1. Drain the water spray system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual , "Water Spray System - Drain" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

2. Disconnect hose (1).

3. Disconnect straps (3) and remove water tank (2).

4. Remove bolts (4) and disconnect harness assembly (5).

5. Remove bolt (7) and disconnect harness assembly (6).

6. Disconnect hose (8).

7. Disconnect hose (9).

8. Remove bolts (10) and support (11).

9. Remove bolts (12) and cover (13).

10. Disconnect straps (14).

11. Disconnect strap (15). Repeat for the opposite side.

12. Attach a suitable lifting device to water tank (16). The weight of water tank (16) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb). Remove water tank (16).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the water tanks in the reverse order of removal.

   1. Tighten bolts (12) to a torque of 15 ± 3 N·m (133 ± 27 lb in).

   2. Tighten bolts (7) and (4) to a torque of 7 ± 1 N·m (62 ± 9 lb in).
