Description Of Change: The new software has various improvements and enhancements for systems like implement, steering, transmission/chassis, relay driver, All Wheel Drive (AWD), message display, information display, and Vital Information Management System (VIMS).
Adaptable To: The following changes are adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers, and are effective with all products after the listed serial numbers.
Note: Cat® Electronic Technician (Cat ET) software version 2016A v1.0 is required to configure machine hardware after flash is complete.
Note: After flashing new software to an Electronic Control Module (ECM) or multiple ECMs, always reset the ECM by cycling the power supply. Turn the key start switch to the OFF position. Wait 10 seconds and turn the key start switch to ON position or start the engine. Verify that the operation of the machine is correct and that no new diagnostics have been activated.

Go to SIS web to make sure that the new flash file part number is still the latest flash file part number. A newer flash file part number may be available. SIS only displays the latest available flash file.
