Description Of Change: New high strength bolts are now used on the spindle to brake housing joint and the brake housing to brake anchor joint. The new high strength bolts provide greater service life for the joints.
Adaptable To: The changes are adaptable to the above serial numbered machines, and effective in production with machines manufactured after the above listed serial numbers.

- Remove and discard 60 bolts (4) and 60 washers (5). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly , Final Drive and Brake - Disassemble for the machine being serviced, and Illustration 1.
- Apply Loctite 263 to the 60 7K-6058 Bolts prior to installation.
- Install the 60 7K-6058 Bolts and the 60 2M-0849 Hard Washers. Tighten the 7K-6058 Bolts to a torque of
135 ± 20 N·m (100 ± 15 lb ft) . Refer to Disassembly and Assembly , Final Drive and Brake - Assemble for the machine being serviced, and Illustration 1.
