The 785G Off-Highway Truck features an Electronic Clutch Pressure Control (ECPC) transmission which is electronically controlled and hydraulically operated. The ECPC transmission is controlled by the Transmission ECM.

Power flows from the engine and through the torque converter and the drive shaft. The power then goes through the transmission and to the differential. The rear axles mechanically connect the differential to the final drives. The final drives are connected to the rear wheels. Power is then sent to the tires.
