Fuel Tank Cap and Strainer - Clean

- Remove the fuel cap.
- Remove filter element screws (2) from the underside of the fuel cap and remove old filter element (1).
- Wash the fuel tank cap in a clean, nonflammable solvent.
- Install a new fuel cap filter element.
- Install filter element screws (2) to secure filter element (1) to the fuel cap.
- Install the fuel tank cap

- Remove fuel tank cap (1).
- Remove strainer (2) from the filler opening.
- Wash the strainer in a clean, nonflammable solvent.
- Install the strainer into the filler opening.
- Install the fuel tank cap.
