Description Of Change: A new engine air intake relay mounting location is now used. The new mounting location on the upper frame makes the relay less susceptible to engine vibration, and therefore switch failure.
Adaptable To: Refer to M0079146 for the necessary parts and instructions for relocating the magnetic switch from the engine (Illustration 1) to the frame (Illustration 2).
The Special Instruction is available through the normal literature distribution system. The publication can also be found on the Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS).
