Improved differential housing (1) and differential housing (2) are adaptable to the machines within listed serial numbers, and are effective with all machines after the listed serial numbers.

Use the following procedure to rework carrier assembly to provide sufficient clearance.

  1. Check the bearing shoulder thickness in area shown in Illustration 2. If it is greater than dimension (B), mill a slot of dimension (A) wide leaving the shoulder dimension (B) thick, centered between the two bearing cap holes.
