Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the rotor drive belt.

2. Remove the clean emissions module (or muffler if equipped).

1. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

2. Remove three bolts (2). Remove two bolts (3). With the assistance of another person, remove access panel (4). The weight of access panel (4) is approximately 68 kg (150 lb)

3. Remove two bolts (6). Disconnect hose assembly (5) and place entire assembly out of the way.

4. Remove two bolts (7). Remove belt guard (9).

5. After removing belt guard (9), reinstall bolts (7) to hold access cover (8) in place.

6. Remove two bolts (11).

7. Remove four bolts (10). Repeat process for opposite side of mounting bracket (12). With the assistance of another person, remove mounting bracket (12). The weight of mounting bracket (12) is approximately 34 kg (75 lb)

8. Attach a suitable lifting device to rotor drive clutch assembly (14). The weight of rotor drive clutch assembly (14) is approximately 200 kg (441 lb).

9. Remove remaining ten bolts (13). Remove rotor drive clutch (14).

Installation Procedure

1. Install rotor drive clutch assembly (14) in the reverse order of removal.
