Drift Reduction Valve (Boom) - Disassemble

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the drift reduction valve.

  1. Remove O-ring seals (1).

  2. Remove relief valve (2).

    Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.


  3. Remove O-ring seals (3), (4), (6), and (8).

  4. Remove rings (5) and (7).

    Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.


    Note: Mark cover (10) for assembly purposes. Make sure that the internal notch faces down.

  5. Remove (9) and cover (10).

  6. Remove O-ring seal (11) and back up ring (12).

  7. Remove spring (14) and check valve (13).

  8. Remove plug (15).

  9. Remove spring (18), guide (17), and spool (16).

  10. Remove O-ring seal (19).
