System Flushing

Option 1

Note: This is the preferred method, but must be done before extreme cold conditions are seen.

  1. Fill reservoir with preferred grease instead of non-preferred grease during normal operating conditions. Estimate around two reservoir refills to completely flush the system.

Option 2

Note: Can be done after cold conditions are seen.

  1. Remove the reservoir lid and remove the old grease.

Caution: Contamination can cause damage to system! Ensure that the environment is clean and clean grease is used!

Note: Recommended to flush the system when the machine reservoir has been fully depleted.

  2. Disconnect supply line at first junction block and run pump in “Continuous Test” mode until new the grease type is visible.
