Automatic Lubrication System - Charge
In the event of system repair, the system must be fully charged and tested to ensure proper function. The following steps can be followed to achieve proper function.
- The system must be charged with
40 cc (2.4 cubic inch) using a manual/pneumatic barrel grease gun using the grease zerk on the Engine End Frame (EEF). Ensure that clean grease (up to NGLI 2) is used.Show/hide table
Illustration 2 g06106941 - "Single Test Mode" must be initiated immediately after system charging. Follow the screen prompts Service > Configurations > Machine > Autolube > Single Test, to get to the screen as show in Illustration 2.
Note: This single test mode is built into the system control and is accessible though the cab display (no special tools required).
