Start By:
- Remove the screed. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, Screed - Remove and Install for the correct procedure.
- Attach a suitable lifting device to tow arm (1). The weight of tow arm (1) is approximately
181 kg (400 lb) .Show/hide table

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.
Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.
Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
- Use Tool (A) to remove the retaining ring.
- Remove the washer, pin assembly (3), and tow arm (1).

- Install tow arm (1) in the reverse order of removal.
