Specification for 383-4238 Track Gp
Item  Qty  Part  Specification Description
All joints of the link assembly must have flexibility even with a measurable end play of zero. Flexibility is the ability for movement from the weight of the link assembly.
Use the following procedure to tighten the track bolts:
1. Tighten the track bolts to 90 ± 20 N·m (66 ± 15 lb ft).
2. Tighten the standard track bolts to an extra turn of 120 ± 5 degrees.
3. Tighten the master link bolts to an extra turn of 180 ± 5 degrees.
The maximum assembly force for the track link assembly is 285000 N (64071 lb)
The reference setting force is 215000 N (48334 lb)
Distance between the bolt holes is 88.92 ± 0.39 mm (3.501 ± 0.015 inch)
Distance between the bolt holes is 104.76 ± 0.39 mm (4.124 ± 0.015 inch)
Distance between the bolt holes is 86.00 ± 0.80 mm (3.386 ± 0.032 inch)
Distance between the bolt holes is 97.18 ± 0.80 mm (3.826 ± 0.032 inch)
Protrusion at one end of the pin is 0.9 ± 0.8 mm (0.04 ± 0.03 inch)
