Transmission and Bevel Gears - Remove and Install

Start By:
- Remove main drive shaft.
- Remove drawbar.
- Remove drive axles.
- Drain the transmission. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Power Train Oil - Change".

Illustration 8 g03851403 - Slide transmission and bevel gears (9) out until the transmission and bevel gears (7) rests on the stops. Place transmission and bevel gears (7) onto Tooling (C).

Illustration 9 g03851404 - Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (D). The weight of transmission and bevel gears (7) is approximately
857 kg (1890 lb) . Remove transmission and bevel gears (7).
- Install transmission and bevel gears (7) in the reverse order of removal.
