The track roller frames are connected at the front by hard bar (1). Hard bar (1) is a solid steel piece.
Brackets (2) are welded to the track roller frames. Brackets (3) are welded to the main frame of the pipelayer. Hard bar (1) is assembled through brackets (3) and held in place by pins (5). Pins (4) are installed in each end of equalizer bar (1). The hard bar keeps the roller frames from oscillating.
