Sliding Frame and Bearing - Install
- Install wear rings (8) and (11), piston seal (10), and lip seal (12) onto piston (9).
- Lubricate piston (9) and the seals with clean hydraulic oil. Install piston (9).
- Install O-ring seal (7) onto cap (5). Lubricate O-ring seal (7) and the bore with clean hydraulic oil. Install cap (5) and bolts (6).
- Install the remaining cylinder assemblies onto sliding frame (4).

Illustration 3 g03327990 - Use a suitable lifting device to position sliding frame (2). The weight of sliding frame (2) is approximately
204 kg (450 lb) . - Install bolts (4) and bar (3). Repeat for the other side.
- Tighten bolts (1) and bolts (4) to a torque of
230 ± 20 N·m (170 ± 15 lb ft) plus turn an additional 30 degrees.
