  4. Move the machine towards a required hole.

  6. Watch the cross hairs to see when the implement is within the tolerance of the Targets window.

  7. Read the depth to design (D) on the Target window or the Digital window.

The depth to design is the distance from the tool tip to the elevation of the Elevation Design file that is "Prime". For example, the depth to design could be the distance from the tool tip to the elevation of the leach pad liner.

The following information is displayed at the bottom of the Targets window:

    • Depth to design (D)

    • Tool position (N, E, Z)

    • Identity number (ID) of the current/incomplete target hole

  8. When at the required depth, install the wick and select the Mark Target Done button.

The on-board software records "Y" (Yes) in the "Done" column in the Targets file. Additionally, the date and time are recorded providing a productivity record for analysis in the office.

Note: A hole may be marked as complete, but afterwards the status of the hole or the time the hole was completed may require changes. If changes are required, ask the office to open the Targets file and then manually edit the file.

  9. Select another hole, move the machine, and repeat the process.

Note: Contact your site supervisor if you complete a hole and the hole appears as incomplete again. A finished hole is gray and the mark showing the future position of a hole is black.

Creating a New Target (Hole)

Create New Target - Select this button to show a new wick hole target at the implement position.

To create a target on the Plan window or Target window, complete these steps:

  1. Make sure that the required Targets file is selected in the "File" > "Select" > "Select Data Files" dialog.

  2. Select the Create New Target button.
