NOTE: | This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI32728" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI32728" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The main stator slot top wedges may wear over time due to micro-movement, and may become displaced on certain G3520H Generator Sets. The stator slot top wedges are used solely during the production build process and do not degrade performance when missing nor are required for continued satisfactory operation. However, there is a potential of small wedge particles exiting the generator air exhaust. |

ACTION REQUIRED
The cover and the fasteners should have already been provided to the dealer. If a dealer does not have the parts, have the Dealer Technical Communicator (TC) submit a request for the parts to CPI number 383664 through CPI Feedback within the Service Information Management System (SIMSi). Installation of a larger drip cover will be required to contain small particles of stator slot top wedge material that may exit the generator air exhaust. Refer to Image1. 1. Remove existing drip cover. Refer to Image2. 2. Install larger drip cover using the new fasteners and hardware provided. Tighten the bolts to a specified torque of 28 +/- 7 N.m. Refer to Image3. |
