(1) Steering oil filter |
Steering oil filter (1) is located inside the left-hand frame rail in front of the hydraulic tank.
Steering oil filter (1) is equipped with a bypass valve. The bypass valve limits the maximum differential pressure through the filter element when the oil is cold or the filter element is restricted.
Oil from the steering pump flows to steering oil filter (1) through the inlet of the filter. During normal operation, the oil flows through the filter element. The oil flows from the element to the priority valve and manifold. Use correct maintenance to make sure that the filter element does not become full of debris.
