Rework Procedure to Modify the Existing 8W-8310 Gusset

Follow the below rework procedure to modify the existing 8W-8310 Gusset (A) in moldboard assembly (B) for adaptable machines that are listed in Table 1.
- Mark edge of the existing 8W-8310 Gusset (A) with respect to dimension (C) as shown in Illustration 3 and trim the edge using a grinder.

- Take care not to grind in to the parent material of the moldboard assembly (B) .
- Ensure that the finished edge of the 8W-8310 Gusset (A) is ground smooth with the surrounding material. Also ensure that there is no gouging of the base material or weld. Refer to Illustration 4 for finished modification of 8W-8310 Gusset (A) in the moldboard assembly (B) .
