Piston Motor (Blower Fan) - Inspect/Lubricate

- Inspect internal splines (3) on the fan for wear. If excessive wear is found, replace the bearing/load adapter for the fan.
- Inspect external splines (4) on the motor shaft for wear. If excessive wear is found, replace the motor for the fan.
- Apply Cat Ultra 5 Moly Grease to the internal splines of the fan and the external splines of the motor.
- Install the (piston) motor for the (blower) fan for the cooling duct. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, KENR8727, "Piston Motor (Blower Fan) - Install"
