1. Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to transmission (12). The weight of transmission (12) is approximately 450 kg (992 lb).

2. Use the suitable lifting device to install transmission (12) and manifold (13) into the output transfer gear. Install bolts (14). Tighten bolts (14) to a torque of 300 ± 40 N·m (221 ± 30 lb ft).

3. Install O-rings (10) and (11) on sleeve (8). Install sleeve (8). Install solenoid (9) and bolts (6). Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of 30 ± 4 N·m (266 ± 35 lb in). Repeat for remaining sleeves and solenoids.

4. Install three bolts (7). Tighten bolts (7) to a torque of 120 ± 20 N·m (89 ± 15 lb ft).

5. Install bolts (5). Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 300 ± 40 N·m (22 ± 30 lb ft).

6. Connect harness assembly (2) and tube assembly (3) to transmission (1).

7. Install Tooling (A), Tooling (B), and a suitable lifting device to reposition the transmission and output transfer gears (1) into an upright position. The weight of the transmission and output transfer gears (1) is approximately 1406 kg (3100 lb).

1. Connect the torque converter to the transmission.
