Use the steps and the handholds when climbing on the machine or when climbing off the machine. Maintain a three-point contact with the steps and with the handholds.

Note: Three-point contact can be two feet and one hand. Three-point contact can also be one foot and two hands.

The operator may choose to exit the cab through right-hand door (1). This exit is only an alternate exit.

To use the alternate exit ladder on the right-hand side and the left-hand side of the machine, open gate, (2) and climb through the opening in the handrail. Step onto the top step of ladder (3). Use the ladder to exit the machine. Face the ladder and descend down the ladder to the ground.
