This article contains a procedure to make adjustments inside the WEBGPI software application. This adjustment will help avoid nuisance fault codes that deal with the requested temperature being reached in the preset amount of time.

Use the procedure that is below to make the adjustments. The effectivity for this procedure is B2Y1-UP and TEN1-UP.

1. Proceed to the WebGPI software application while the machine is connected to the asphalt screed.

2. Adjust the default settings for the "Low Temp Timer" from 30 to 35.

3. Adjust the default settings for the "Med Temp Timer" from 45 to 55.

4. Adjust the default settings for the "High Temp Timer" from 60 to 75.

The most sensitive setting is "High Temp Timer". If the problem continues after this adjustment, an additional 10 minutes could be added to the setting. This change does not have an impact on heat up time. The change only affects the diagnostics the software goes thru during the monitoring of the heat up cycle.
