The "Service" menu option is selected by using the four-way button until the "Service" menu is displayed and then pressing the "OK" button.
The following options are available through the "Service" menu:
- Configuration
- Diagnostics
- Calibrations
- Service Test
- ECM Summary
Note: The default service password is 1234_. The fifth position _, must be a blank space. To view or change the password, connect to Caterpillar Electronic Technician (Cat® ET) and navigate to the configurations section for the message display.

The two configuration items require a password entry to configure. Password entry is required once per key cycle.
