1. Install one plate assembly (18), four hard washers (6), and four bolts (16).

2. Install four hard washers (11), four nuts (14), and four rods (12).

3. Use two people to install two battery groups (17). The weight of each battery group (17) is approximately 39 kg (86 lb).

4. Install one hold down (13), four hard washers (11), and four locknuts (10). Tighten four locknuts (10) to a torque of 10 ± 2 N·m (89 ± 18 lb in).

5. Loosen two bolts (19) and two hard washers (20).

6. Remove one nut (21) and one hard washer (20). Disconnect cable assembly (22).

7. Position one cable assembly (2). Connect one cable assembly (2) and one cable assembly (22). Install one hard washer (20) and one nut (21).

8. Route cable assembly (2) and secure with two hard washers (20) and two bolts (19).

9. Position one cable assembly (8). Connect one cable assembly (8). Install one hard washer (6) and one nut (9).

10. Secure the cover on cable assembly (8) with one cable strap (3).

11. Route cable assembly (2) and cable assembly (8). Secure cable assembly (2) and cable assembly (8) with six plates (1), three spacers (4), three clamps (5), three hard washers (6), and three bolts (7).

12. Route cable assembly (2) and cable assembly (8). Secure cable assembly (2) and cable assembly (8) with four plates (1), two spacers (4), two clamps (5), two hard washers (6), and two bolts (7).

14. Route cable assembly (2) and cable assembly (8). Secure cable assembly (2) and cable assembly (8) with ten plates (1), five spacers (4), five clamps (5), five hard washers (6), five bolts (7), one hard washer (24), and one bolt (23).

15. Route cable assembly (2). Secure cable assembly (2) with two plates (1), one spacer (4), one clamp (5), one hard washer (6), one bolt (7). Connect cable assembly (2) to the battery group. Tighten the terminal of cable assembly (2) to a torque of 7 ± 1 N·m (62 ± 9 lb in). Secure the cover on cable assembly (2) with one cable strap (3).

16. Install battery cable assembly (15). Tighten the terminals of battery cable assembly (15) to a torque of 7 ± 1 N·m (62 ± 9 lb in). Secure the covers on battery cable assembly (15) with two cable straps (3).

17. Connect cable assembly (8) to the battery group. Tighten the terminal of cable assembly (8) to a torque of 7 ± 1 N·m (62 ± 9 lb in). Secure the cover on cable assembly (8) with one cable strap (3).
