Description of Change: The new head assembly contains a buffer seal. The buffer seal will reduce pressure and wear on the U-cup seal. The new U-cup seal contains a chamfer on the heel of the seal that will reduce the erosion, or extrusion of the heel of the seal.

The new 426-5381 Head As (1) replaces the former 223-4397 Head in the 350-3849 Rear Suspension Gp. The new head assembly is also the service replacement for the former head in the 296-0737 Rear Suspension Gp .
The new 433-5903 U-Cup Seal (3) replaces the former 327-1055 U-Cup Seal in the 350-3849 Rear Suspension Gp .
The new 330-6820 Buffer Seal As (2) has been added to the 350-3849 Rear Suspension Gp .
Both the new 433-5903 U-Cup Seal, and the new 330-6820 Buffer Seal As are part of the improved 297-6848 Seal Kit for the 350-3849 Rear Suspension Gp, and the 296-0737 Rear Suspension Gp .
The new 426-5381 Head As (1), and the improved 297-6848 Seal Kit are adaptable to machines ASK1-1093, EED1-UP, EXD1-UP, EYG1-UP, and DLS1-UP. The new parts became effective in production with the machine ASK1094-UP.
