Field reports have been received that the 6G-1602 Connecting Link shows wear and may fail on the machines listed above. The 6G-1602 Connecting Link is a part of 6G-1601 Chain Gp .

An improved connecting link (1) has been released. The connecting link (1) has been improved by changing the manufacturing process of the connecting link.
The process involves grinding the connecting link pin first before sending to the heat treatment process. The improved manufacturing process helps strengthen the link material and increases the service life of the connecting link.
The new connecting link can be identified by the dimple mark at the end of the master link pin as shown in the Illustration 1.
New 6G-1602 Connecting Link (1) is adaptable to machines and effective in production with machines that are listed in Table 2.
