Remove the old seal (1) with the 5P7414 Seal Pick (2) or a similar tool.
Use screwdriver (3) as a scraper to clean the seal pocket.
Wash the coil and seal socket with a general purpose solvent and use air under pressure to make the part completely dry.
Use alcohol or 8M8060 Primer to clean any oil and dirt from the seal pocket. Before the next step is started, be sure the seal pocket and coil body are dry; do not use air pressure.
Put RTV adhesive (4) in the seal pocket and use spreader (5) to make it smooth and even. This operation and the next step must be complete in from three to fifteen minutes.
