New Stronger Elbow Used In Marine And Fire Pump Engine Water Lines Groups {1380}

3208 (90N,03Z) Industrial, 3208 (4MG, 75V, 01Z) Marine Engines
Description of Change: A new elbow is used on the left side of the rear of the engines front cover. See the illustration. Formerly, the elbow in this location was made from aluminum. The aluminum could erode and allow coolant leaks. The new elbow is made from cast iron to better resist erosion.
Location of the new 9Y3332 Elbow (1), 9N0237 Gasket (2), 9Y1642 Hose (3), and 8T1117 Clamps (4) in a typical water lines group. The 7W1890 Elbow (5) must be rotated to align with the new 9Y1642 Hose (3).
Adaptable To: The new 9Y3332 Elbow (1), one 9N0237 Gasket (2), one 9Y1642 Hose (3), and two 8T1117 Clamps are a direct replacement for the former 2W0010 Elbow.
