Engine Changes For 350 Hp{1022}

Usage:

3116 (4KG, 1SK) Marine Engine

Description of Change: The 350 Hp 3116 Marine Engine is now available. Several changes were made compared to the earlier 300 Hp for this new "E" Pleasurecraft high-performance rating. The earlier 300 Hp rating is still available and does not have these changes.

Adaptable To: 6I3564 Governor Group (new 6I2161 Governor); 6I1212 Rod and Piston Group (new crown and skirt); 6I4212 Injector Group (new 6I3669 Injector); 1004952 Water Pump Group (new 1004952 Water Pump with more capacity); and 366775 Vee-Belt for water pump are used in the new 6I4187 Engine arrangement, performance specification 2T5047. Earlier 300 Hp engines may be converted to this new arrangment by installing 1-6I2161 Governor; 6-6I4248 Piston Crowns; 6-4P1549 Piston Skirts; 6-6I3669 Injectors; 1-1004952 Water Pump; 1-366775 Vee Belt. The turbocharger did not change.

Performance specificaton on a 4W5140 Engine Identification Plate with the new specifications should be placed over the original Engine Identification Plate so that the engine serial number remains visible.
