New Magneto And Magneto Drive{1552}

Usage:

G3304 (37Y) Engines

Description of Change: The magneto and magneto drive for the G3304 Engines has been changed. This will provide a common magneto drive for the G3304 and G3306 Engines.

Adaptable To: The changes are effective on G3304 Engines starting with serial number 37Y2113. The following table shows the correct replacement part number based on engine serial number and the markings on the magneto.

As shown the earlier magnetos must use the 8N5024 Magneto Drive Group. The new magnetos must use the 7N4313 Magneto Drive Group. The new production magnetos may be used as replacements for the earlier magnetos if the magneto drive group is changed. For example, a 6I2310 Magneto may be used in place of a 2W3746 magneto if the 8N5024 Magneto Drive Group is replaced by the 7N4313 Magneto Drive Group.
