Description of Change: New firmware is now available for MS952, MS972, and MS992 GPS Receivers used on Machine Control and Guidance Products. The new firmware contains improvements that are listed below:

  • The new version of the MS9x2 firmware corrects a communication issue on startup between the two GPS receivers on Dual GPS CAES systems.

Note: It is recommended that single-MS9x2 receiver systems on site are also updated with the new release of firmware. This ensures that all MS9x2 receivers on a site are running the same version of firmware.

  • It is now possible to enable the use of the positioning engine Kalman filter with a CAN message.

Note: This change will only have an effect in GNSS receivers running the low dynamic tracking loop.

  • Improvements have been made to the RTK engine to increase the robustness of the Precision RTK solution.
