Rear Side of Engine (1) ATAAC air temperature sensor | |
ATAAC air temperature sensor (1) is located on the rear side of the engine. The door on the left side of the machine provides access to this component.
The machine ECM number one uses the input from ATAAC air temperature sensor (1) to optimize engine performance.
Note: ATAAC air temperature sensor (1) is on the engine wiring harness.

Left Side of Machine (2) Hydraulic oil temperature sensor | |
Hydraulic oil temperature sensor (2) is installed in the return manifold located on the left side of the machine. The door on the left side of the machine provides access to this component.
Hydraulic oil temperature sensor (2) measures the temperature of the return oil in the hydraulic system. Since the return manifold collects oil from various sources, the hydraulic oil temperature sensor provides an accurate system oil temperature for use in the fan control logic.

Front Side of Engine (3) Engine coolant temperature sensor | |
Engine coolant temperature sensor (3) is located on the front side of the engine. The door on the left side of the machine provides access to this component.
Note: Engine coolant temperature sensor (3) is on the engine wiring harness. The engine ECM uses the input from this sensor to optimize engine cooling efficiency.
