New Flywheel Ring Gear Available To Improve Starter Engagement{1158,1454}

There are some occasions when repeated starter butt engagements (starter does not engage) are a problem. The new 7W5095 Flywheel Ring Gear is available from parts service to help prevent starter butt engagement. The teeth on the new ring gear have a lead-in chamfer that helps prevent the starter pinion from "hanging-up" on (contacting) the face of ring gear. The new 7W5095 Flywheel Ring Gear can be used as a direct replacement for the 9L8113 Flywheel Ring Gear.
