New Turbocharger Group For 3512 (24Z) High Speed Generator Set Engines{1052}
Usage:
A new turbocharger group is available for 3512 Generator Set Engines rated at 1150 Generator kW Prime and 1252 Generator kW Standby. The new group has a different compressor wheel and matching compressor housing to improve efficiency and reduce smoke.
The new 7E7698 Turbocharger Group (9Y9617 Basic Turbocharger) replaces the former 4W1550 Turbocharger Group (7W9410 Basic Turbocharger). This is effective with 24YZ3051 and is adaptable to earlier engines with the above ratings and turbocharger group. Because of the different performance of the turbochargers, it is recommended that both turbochargers be changed to prevent instability.
