振动系统中的主要工作部件是偏心配重。 振动马达围绕滚动钢轮内的轴旋转该配重。 配重的旋转将产生一个动态 (或离心) 力，该力在幅度上远大于机器的静态重量。
机器必须在高怠速或 ECO 模式下操作，才能运行振动系统。 在高怠速状态下，发动机以 2200 rpm 的转速运转。 在 ECO 模式下运行时，发动机转速为 2000 rpm。
偏心配重轴的转速决定了振动频率。 频率表示为赫兹 (Hz) (每秒振动次数) 或每分钟振动次数
(VPM) 。 在标准配置的机器上振动频率由发动机转速控制。 在配备了可变频率振动系统的机器上，机器 ECM 可以改变给定发动机转速下的振动频率。

机器 ECM (1) 监控以下部件的输入信号，以此来控制振动系统：
- 发动机 ECM (5)
- 键盘 (6)
- 行驶操纵杆 (7)
- (配备了可变频率振动系统的机器上) 的转速传感器 (8)
机器 ECM (1) 对输入信号进行评估，并确定是否应将输出发送到振动电磁阀 "A" (3) 或振动电磁阀 "B" (4) 。 在固定频率振动系统的机器上，输出信号不是成比例的。 在可变频率振动系统的机器上，输出信号是成比例的。
机器 ECM (1) 在操作过程中使用显示屏 (2) 向操作员提供有关振动系统的信息。
本文档的振动系统章节分为以下小节。 第一小节说明机器上振动系统部分的所有电气部件和液压部件的位置。 这些部分中提供了关于每个部件的简述。
